Memorial Day

We had our first Memorial Day in SD, we had to find a new place to fish.  Although they weren't jumping out of the water like at Barker's, we did catch 7 and had a great BBQ after.

Meg's 5th Birthday

Meg loves her doll and plays with her all the time.  Thanks to everyone who helped Meg get this awesome present.  She thinks that Sarah is the perfect name for her doll.

Meg wanted a Belle princess cake.  Just like what she is going to be for Halloween.

Meg also graduated from Preschool on her birthday.  What a busy day.

Custer State Park

We went to Custer State Park last weekend with some friends.  They were having a free openhouse to kick of the season.  We had a free pancake breakfast, hayride, fishing and lots of other stuff we didn't have time for.  We also learned that Clara gets carsick, especially when she hasn't eated breakfast yet.  We will never skip a meal in the morning for her again.

We weren't desperate enough to acutally pay for horse rides.  Only kids 6 and under were free, Anna and Lex got to ride the bench.

Fishing on Legion Lake

This is the only fish our family caught, but amongst all the families there we were able to have a good fresh trout appetizer for lunch.

This was the hugest bull we have ever seen.  It was about 5 feet from our car, its head was as big as Daddy Lex's torso.

  The pictures don't do it justice, but if CSI ever comes to our house were busted.

Later that night Meg ran into the wall.  The next morning she was the proud owner of a shiner.

We went to dinner with friends the next week. I guess we stayed out too late.

Easter outfits, i forgot to take pictures on Easter, so here we go a few weeks late.

Dad's 34th birthday.  We couldn't celebrate that night because I had a Relief Society Meeting.  So the girls took Dad to lunch.  Unfortunately Lex got conned into running the nursery for the meeting too.  Happy Birthday!

Lex had a sleepover with his friend John, Dad and his parents left at 2 am for a youth temple trip.

Anna lost another tooth while eating Mom's famous fajita's.  I guess the meat was a little tough.  However she didn't scream like usual so maybe we will try this method everytime.
