Pinewood Derby

Lex had is first pinewood derby.  He was an awesome competitor.  Although he didn't win the whole thing he did win a few heats.

Ty's doctor appointment

Ty went for his checkup.  He is 14 lbs 7.5 oz (38th %), 24 inches (15th %), and his head is 74%.  I guess maybe we finally got an "Alder mug"

4 months old

I can't believe how fast time flies by.  Ty is already 4 month old.  He is so cute and so happy.

Fifth's Disease

Clara had a fever last week, it only lasted one day. A couple days later she woke up with flushed cheaks and a rash.  We found out that fifth's disease is going around school and the nursery in our ward.  I guess it is a great illness to get, it doesn't really do anything. 

Lex's read-a-loud

Lex wrote a story in class about fishing on his birthday.  His class had a read-a-loud on Valentines.  He did a great job.

Anna's 11th Birthday

Anna celebrated her birthday with three parties.  Her first party was a late night with friends.



Next we had cake and ice cream with the Barrett's

On the 13th, her actual birthday, she opened her presents.  She got clothes, speakers for her ipod shuffle and a lot of money.  She is excited to go shopping.





Clara got a late present,  a Zhu Zhu pet, and followed it around saying "come back, it's okay."

We went to the Rapid City Stock show and PRCA Rodeo with our friends the Barrett's.  We all had a lot of fun, Clara's best quote of the night was during the bucking bulls.  She said "Mom, i know why those bulls buck, cuz they don't have on a leash."
